Karl’s last position was with Wald Family Foods where he was the Plant Manager and Director of Operations. Karl was responsible for R&D, Productions, QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, Shipping and Purchasing for the fast growing food manufacturer.
Karl’s previous journey was at the world renowned Omaha Steaks. He was the Corporate Executive Chef from 2003-2016. In this position he was responsible for R&D, Recipe Development, as well as serving as a Company Spokesperson.
Prior to Omaha Steaks, Karl resided as the Executive Chef at the Painted Table, Alexis Hotel, Hotel Finisterra in Cabo San Lucas and various restaurants on Seattle’s Top Ten Restaurant list.
Karl is the active Chairman for the Research Chefs Associations Certification Committee and also, a member of the Culinary Advisory Committee of the Metropolitan Community College Culinary Arts Program.
